Welcome to the FiA Conference 2024
On behalf of the organizing committee, I am pleased to announce that the 8th Food Ingredient Asia Science and Technology Conference, themed "Toward one health through sustainable and innovative food science and technology," is scheduled to take place from 4 – 6 September at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Jakarta, Indonesia.
The conference, in conjunction with Food Ingredient Asia (FiA) Exhibition, Indonesia and South East Asia Region premier food and beverage ingredients event, is organized by several institutions including the SEAFAST Center-IPB, Department of Food Science and Technology-IPB, Faculty of Medicine-IPB, Department of Human Nutrition-IPB, and the Indonesian Association of Food Technologists (IAFT). Supported by the Asia Pacific Food Innovation Network (APAC FIN), this conference serves as a pivotal platform where stakeholders, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers convene to discuss, deliberate, and strategize towards a healthier, more sustainable future for all.
By bringing together various stakeholders in this forum, we hope to generate innovative ideas, sustainable solutions, and robust partnerships to realize the One Health vision through food science and technology. Through this conference, we also aim to create opportunities for food and beverage product and business development in the Asia Pacific Region. Join us and have your voice heard in this collaboration to collectively steer our steps towards a healthier, more sustainable, and inclusive future for all communities in Asia Pacific region.
